Why dont we have GROUP orders/buys here ?

There are several forums where group order[GO] or buys happen .

Ex : Some one finds a hella HID for a very nice deal , he negotiates with the dealer telling that 10 -20 more from the forum might be interested , the dealer suddenly drops the price to mouth watering price , dealer happy ,forum happy

.

Like there could be GOs for ICE ,battery ,leather seats , HIDS,FFE,headers...... so on.Purely automotive stuff .Imagine getting FFE and headers 30 % off the market price or some thing similar

This will not only get members cheaper products , but will also make aware of products they dont know at all .

Why not think about this ? .We do on trial basis . If it works out ( I am sure it will work out ) ,we can have a separate section for it .

Actually I am all in if someone wants to get some bike stuff from abroad.

I remember reading a thread a few months ago regarding baleno aftermarket clear lens tail lights which were to be shipped from thailand i think.The dealer was not ready to ship one or two pieces, and about 15 bhpians expressed interest as far as i remember and the dealer agreed. Not sure if the deal went ahead or not, but yes it is a good idea. Anyone who is able to get in touch with these dealers should report to the forum to see if other bhpians are interested in the product.

I dont think this is allowed according to the forum rules. I wanted to have a group buy from ebay for the steering remote controls, but I remember being told by another member that it's against the rules.

Group purchase is basically an instrument of negotiation in a commerical transaction. Team-BHP rules doesn't allow the forum to be used for any commerical purpose. - Admin Team
