I do not personally race, but it is a race boat so I suppose it sort-of belonged here.. maybe?

What is the fuel?

At higher speeds, with more than 4/5th of the hull above water, stability is affected with even minor waves/ripples in water, right? How do you manage avoiding waves?

The wake generated would travel to the shore of the lake / water body, right? Anybody complains about the waves?
It runs on aviation fuel, although I could put lower compression heads on it to run high octage pump gas.

At really high speeds, most of the boat is out of the water, so you have to control it with trim and steering. Small ripples in the water will make it go faster, since they act as air pockets and reduce friction. Anything larger than that, and you can't run it fast. It's best to run in lakes and rivers, and to of course always be careful.

Love the variety in the garage of yours. Something for every mood and occasion.
What truck is that? Could you please post some pics ?
Thank you
The truck is a Chevy Blazer ZR-2.

I love that boat.

When you hit small waves it feels inside the boat too i guess. How do you deal with it?

That's my old GSX-R 750, which I sold. I have a brand new Ninja ZX-6R now (both pics below). I'll be taking the new Ninja to the track very soon.

Just let off the throttle and be careful - just like fast cars or bikes going into turns or hitting bumps, you have to just drive accordingly, as long as the conditions permit. You don't have to drive fast all the time.

this is cool. I've been on a speedboat while i was vacationing in mauritius and i noticed what you said. it did tend to fly a bit faster on the ripples. thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

Thank you. No gears - just a single forward gear, and during top speed the engine rpm would be about 9000-10,000 RPM.

Do you need to get a license to drive/pilot a boat ?
Also are there cops around to catch speeding boats ?

Great video man, that thing is moving really fast.
