Brilliant compo Samurai! But the shot has a slight pink hue. If you shot raw, you can probably select the grey clouds as wb reference? (I mean the clouds nearer, the rear ones should be red)

@Samurai
Of all your recent shots, that one has some serious composition! Awesome click.

TG.

@tsk: Amazing long exposures of the sky... The stars seem to be rotating.
@TG: Beautiful waterfall.
@Samurai: I like the tree and the moon the background shot very much. Creepy!

Here's one from my side.

ISO 100
F/29
60mm
10 seconds

Shot at NH47 bypass, Trivandrum

Thanks, I too like it for the creepiness. BTW, very nice effect of the highway.

Thanks... Yes, a layer of de-saturation with masks on the light trails plus some more treatment with the levels and so on.

Gurgaon skyline

This is the Gurgaon skyline one night. I don't have the Exif at the moment as I'm posting from elsewhere after saving this image from my FB account..

This is a nice thread and thanks to Samurai for his critique on my earlier post too!

Here's a long exposure shot of a prayer hall of a monastery in Kaza in Spiti valley.
10 sec exposure, F 4, ISO 100, Focal length 27mm
Using a Canon 400D and 18-55 IS kit lens

Can the experts comment on the moon reflections and how they can be avoided?

The second pic is the Golden Gate bridge at night. This isn't exactly a long exposure (1 sec) and taken with a Samsung point and shoot camera by keeping it on a rock instead of a tripod. I hope this fits in the theme.
