Well, v&v, ItMyLife and I were standing on the road in front of my house after the session with the supercars, and ended up trying our collective hands at panning shots. It was my first attempt at this kind of photography, and here are a couple from my cam that look halfway decent (though nowhere near the class of stuff posted elsewhere on this thread).

The Theme: Backlit
Period: Mar 1st 2010 - Mar 31st 2010


Tips: The main object of the image should be illuminated from the back. In other words, the main object should be between the light source and the camera.

This is a saal leaf which has rotted away, which I found in Gir forest. There were heaps of these leaves on the ground after the rains. Got a few back with me, but unfortunately they all crumbled on the way.

That's right, same brand, blue male and red female one. reflection from the floor, photo rotated by 90 degrees. Confusing right?
