Earthquake!!! (18 Sept 2009)

A minor earthquake was experinced in our area (kaithammukku) of the capital city of our god's own country at around 6:45 today.. Anyone else experinced it??

Heard it originated somewhere in the sea. Idukki too felt it!

Not to panic but earthquakes in the sea also create tsunami s dont they !! It depends upon the intensity of the quake !!

my home town ! any earthquake .. i hope there are no casualities.

no.. nothin to worry.. no casualities.. The quake registered 3.4 on ritcher scale.. SEZ is sayin there's nothing to panic and there are no chances of an aftershock.. The epicentre is said to be somewhere about 18 km from the capital city.. Think somewhere near attingal.
