Are we heading towards a major seismic disaster?

Just felt stong tremors here in chandigarh, and they were strong enough,to shake the table left and right.

A google search revealed interesting result.

Wide spread Earthquake tremors were felt across the globe in the past 24hrs.

I too felt some great ones in Srinagar @ ~1:30 am!(lasted around 1-2mins continuous!)

Was terrified enough to run out of the hotel room! lol

Heard that Delhi was rocked too!(Hindu Kush effect!?)

Any idea at what time this happened? I was awake till 1:15 or so and didn't feel any... Was Delhi/NCR also affected? I stay on the 14th floor hence any shaking would have a had a magnifying effect of sort and surely would have been felt.

Current Month

About last night quake
Preliminary Earthquake Report

Note, another happened yesterday evening also in the same region.
So either its letting off steam, or there is a big one building up in Afghanistan

Scary indeed Akshay. Tremors in Pakistans Punjab province, Kashmir, Chandigarh and even Panama.

Hope its just a minor rumble and not a forecast of a bigger quake anytime soon.

I wish the world does not end on a Friday.
Will wreck my week end plans. :(

on second thought it might as well end on Friday
so it wrecks my wife's plan of making me do some household chores.
