3,3-Bromochlorohexyne or more specifically 3,3-Bromochlorohex-1-yne.

yne for the triple bond at C1
Bromo and Chloro at C3
B comes before C so its Bromo first.

Same here, but the IUPAC naming is not too bad. Its pretty easy once you know the rules. But when it comes to what the compounds do, I'm as clueless as you!

So is building rockets, or creating encryption algorithms, or hooking up with a girl. Once you've figured it out, it's always simple and seems like common sense.
