my edit limit expired while I was typing and then got called on phone, I think I missed one point.

I agree that we are on a path of no return and will eventually destroy ourselves. And yes, indulgence and technology are largely behind that. But I would not attribute any of that to god, nor would I assume that following any divine code will resolve it. We can slow down the process by following simple common sensical approach.
