I have a doubt...where will the end start from ? If it happens at the Australian longitude, technically it will be still yesterday in the US , so the world would have ended on 20-DEC-2012 ??? This is so confusing
Someone please help me understand.

1. You are mixing Mayan calender & Gregorian calendar
2. You are bringing International Date Line into the discussion, which is an alien concept in Mayan times

BTW, world doesn't end in 2012 in none of the other calenders (Gregorian, Julian, Hindu, Islamic, Chinese, Japanese, etc). Then why follow Mayan calender for the day 21-Dec-2012?

So, about a week ago I got an email offering 20% discount on Mayan astrological predictions for 2013. I suppose this was the true deal.
Plus I have strict instructions to get tickets for first day first show for Dabangg 2. A movie before it all ends. Yes, that's the way.

I am thinking about the 4 years, 150,000 KMs warranty of my T-jet I also got anti-rust coating done last week that comes with 5 years warranty.

OTOH it's surprising how fascinated people are towards these doomsday theories. The world will end when it has to end, till that point let's just LIVE our lives. Probably not the right thread for this, still I felt it might be useful for people who consider their life doomed because of work-pressure.

A cousin of mine is going to be Rs.500 richer on 22nd morning. A friend of his bet Rs.500 that the world will end on 21st December. My cousin (smart kid that he is) accepted the bet.

If the world did end on 21st, how was the friend supposed to collect on the bet?
