The kid seems to be in a child seat (what else?). However most references to child seat has been with respect to rear seat. Is it safe and is it normal practise to fit child seat in front? I would certainly like to do it for my son.

Yes, thats a Recaro child seat. Child seats can be used on the front seat as well. As it is firmly attached, it should be pretty safe.

Finally the secret is out!! A Hollywood movie(I won't name it, watch the video to know) sought inspiration from this movie(name unknown to me)!
