I always knew hollywood films inspire bollywood story-lines; but I was shocked to watch this sequence which is total copy+paste.

On a serious note, in the original version you can see heroes get themselves buckled up before they jump their car. In the copied Indian version, no seat-belts! Even when we are copying, we omit the only *sensible* thing those original guys did! Are Indians inherently careless ?

Honestly, i thought this was in REALLY POOR TASTE. Disgusting, actually.

These days people make "Social Message" videos with the main aim of going viral, rather than making a difference.

Rather than educating the people they targeted, or working towards providing better facilities - these smartasses have decided to drench them, ruin their belongings and probably their cell phones which cost a months salary. Just so we can have a good laugh and click the like button. Let's not kid ourselves. These guys were not trying to make a difference - they were trying to make a viral video.

Now, about the method used, its borderline 'vigilante justice'. Amusing in small does, never a good idea on a large scale. How would they like it if i caught one of them (who created this video) texting on their cell phone while driving, and then smashed my Hummer into them, or smashed their iPhones (I'm sure that would get a lot of views on Youtube). It's pretty much the same thing. In fact, I'd rather have people peeing on the roads than texting whilst driving. At least its never killed anybody.

How so? Firing a jet of water and driving a Hummer into them is the same thing? Yes their cellphones and clothes would get wet, they might catch a cold or fever the next day and this might turn out to be a big embarrassment for them but what of the municipality cleaners who have to clean these pavements and other areas on a daily basis? When public urinals are available for usage for a nominal charge, why don’t these men use them instead?

And some of them are well educated and employed! How would they like it if a bunch of guys were made to pee in front of their house’s boundary walls?

Not entirely sure of that but this would certainly dissuade the offenders and the onlookers from doing so again. I am wondering what is the stance of the Bombay cops w.r.t. this stunt.

Educating them is probably not going to work. People do not wear helmets or seat belts despite getting pulled over multiple times. Would you expect them to switch over to public urinals by educating them using hoardings or banners? I would not. But yes providing better facilities is a workable solution.

IIRC, one man in the video pees in front of a wall which has clearly prohibited them from doing so (yehan peshaab karna mana hein or something of that sort).
