Guys - Sorry for not updating the thread due to the holidays and promise to my wife to stay away from my laptop.

We finally named her after a long struggle of finding good names and getting comments from everyone in the family.

Her name is MYRA and she seems to love it already!

Its a herculean task of getting the entire family to agree on names!!

Myra's a year old now. 13 months to be precise and we did not understand how time flew by!

I'm in Business Development and life does not be so easy in this job ever! It was a crazy year for me with new assignments, lot of additional working hours, burning the midnight oil and sleeping for a few minutes in my car to get fresh for another client conversation.

BUT, I made it a point to spend sometime every day with my little one and WOW what a time it was. My tiredness just flips inside of me when I see her first thing every day after work and I'm ready for another assignment easily.

Of course she is too notorious already and wants me to take her in the car for a ride before I leave for office everyday! The child locks are coming to use now and it really helps.

I dont know from where she has got the habit as I did not do it as a routine, but everyday while I go in for a shower, she gets her shoes and stands beside me until I get ready for work and then she comes along till the car park in the basement. Creates a havoc if stopped.

She was very calm and behaved like a grown up all along our Bangalore - Mahableshwar - Pune - Lonavala - Mumbai - Bangalore drive last month and I felt really proud about it. Even my brother in law had issues staying calm for a 13 hour straight drive to Bangalore. Thanks to my wife, Myra was made as comfortable as she could get in her baby seat! The travelogue is coming up shortly as soon as I'm done with my latest assignment.

Will be putting up some of her pics here tomorrow. Just wanted to get the thread active so that I can share a real story of a kid growing up with a petrol-head dad and a wonderful mom! and what better place to share it!

And for some who asked - Myra means Adorable.
