As expected many people stayed at home and there wasn't much traffic on roads.

This was my second experience of solar eclipse. Last time was in mid nineties, but it wasn't as long as this.
When eclipse was at maximum, the sun light had a different feeling, which has to be only experienced. I wonder how it would be to witness total eclipse!

Have been watching the eclipse since 11:30 am. This is the first time that I am actually seeing an eclipse, and wow what a sight it was. Makes us all to stop and think how amazing the universe is .

My eclipse pics

Thanks to TSK, I was able to shoot the eclipse today from my home in Chennai. Used my Canon 500D + Canon 50-250 IS, handheld with an xray film. Some pics:

It was bright, yet was not hot. Superb experience. What a wonderful universe!

It wasnt total in jaipur but I had fun clicking snaps at 15 mnts interval. I started at 1245 hrs and finished at 1500 hrs.

Photos as the eclipse went on. Watch from top row left to right and then bottom row left to right.

Since my type matched I offered to help. He said he'll give a call. Lets see.
