Not much luck from Hubli either, just a partial Eclipse.

as promised, photos taken using my HDR-SR10E at 15x optical.

i did shoot video of the eclipse at closer range, but kinda gets hazy when it goes digital.

Just thought of posting a composite image of the eclipse shots. The bigger image on the bottom right is actually shot without any filter in front of the lens.

I didn't have the right equipment (right camera, filter etc) , and I was hanging out of a Van watching the eclipse.. So, no photos of the eclipse as such. But, a huge traffic jam at the point where road ends before Dhanushkodi, prevented most people from going in. Also, due to this could not get the jeep that we had booked.

TV crew dint venture after that point. The only OB van that ventured beyond this was a TV Today Sierra at Land's end (Arichal Munai)

No pictures of the eclipse, but truly an unforgettable experience. Travelogue will follow soon!
