Havent been following this thread and i havent read thru all the enteries, but has anyone seen a movie called Taxi. Not Taxi Driver. THis ones about a french taxi driver, he's got a 406 Peugeot and gets involved with some police work. His car turns into a 406 touring car when he wants to go fast. Its only available in french with english subtitles, but its worth watching.

My favorite car movie has to be De niro's "Ronin". They used WRC drivers for the insane driving through streets of Paris and without special effects.
Also car chases from Bourne Supremacy, Bourne Ultimatum, French connection also come to mind

O yeah that is one amazing movie! I still remember the scene where he drives this guy to the airport and the guy throws up when he gets out of the car.

If I am not mistaken, this film subsequently has 4 or 5 new parts made!

I am not sure.. i thought there were only 2 parts. They came out with an american version with queen latifa in it, but that wasnt half as good.

Another good movie is Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

If it's in 5.1 channel then it's artificially done LATER.

Original movie came with 2 channel. I've seen that movie in the hall and I have the DVD.
