I remember a particular scene from Mission Impossible (Dont know which one) where Tom Cruise and Thandie Newton are racing the cars over some sharp and breathtaking turns. Thats was a great scene.

Nothing beats Gone in sixty seconds

My favorite(in order of my liking):
1. Gone in Sixty Seconds
2. 2 Fast 2 Furious (love that race to get the package from Ferrari )
3. Cars (animated movie- those two "Italian english accent" cars running tire shop and their love for a Ferrari)
4. Misc(not exactly car movies)- Transporter 1, 2 and 3. The Lamborghini chase
is worth watching in Transporter2.
- Death Race(2008)

Silly, stupid and sans any real storyline. You'll only watch it if you are a car guy, or have nothing better to do. I caught it on saturday after a late night out. Nice looking ghost car that goes about killing everyone.
One can say the same about 'Redline' which, IMO, is one of the worst movies ever! The acting is bad, some of the special effects, action sequences seem overdone and not up to the mark, the story line is cheesy, and the facts about the cars are just plain wrong! Everyone knows that the Ferrari Enzo cannot be bought by dropping a suitcase full of money at the dealership!

The cars, however, are fantastic and some of the action sequences are good. Watch it only if you're a 'car-guy' and have nothing better to do!

That was an awesome scene. One of the best car chases in the movies. I love Jackie Chan movies. Too bad, they don't make movies like those anymore.

I'll add the older DEATH RACE to this list.

One of the worst movies involving cars that I have ever seen. Not even a patch on the new Death Race.

Regards.

Can anybody forget the number plate OA-5599? in fact you cannot use this number as your twitter account password because it has been black listed.
I think you know what I'm talking about. Its the great car movie "vanishing point". This movie gave Dodge challenger a separate identity in the history.
The race between challenger and chrysler imperials is just ultimate.

A great movie related to car which I like most is the great Quentin torantino's Death proof. Huh! that
chevy nova with roll cage is simply superb. And is obvious whatever Torantiono does is ultimate.

Another great movie (it's not a car movie) where a car captures the viewer's attention is The God Father I. Where
Appolinia was killed in Alfa Romeo 6C. That car blast scene is just awesome. Thanks to brilliant direction by Coppola.

For me, movies with amazing vehicles would include James Bond flicks (also had chicks - how cool is that!), Transporter, Batman's Batmobile, and closer home - Dhoom had some clean biking stunts.

On a related topic - any one remember Street Hawk, the motorcycle serial - 'The Man, The Machine ... Street Hawk'. Used to see it regularly while I was a growing up kid.
