"The Car" : A horror movie about a possessed car. This was done way back in 1977 and I have watched it a number of times since childhood.

"Knight Rider" - TV series. Though not a movie, the Pontiac Grand Am was my first fascination for cars.

nicejits - i would say go ahead and buy dvds, they are farely cheap and the quality is really good. Or better still join a good dvd library, in the future you will be able to also rent blu-rays - if you want to enjoy your car movies, picture quality and sound quality is important

Godfather, the original 1971 blockbuster. As a lover of vintage and classic cars, the movie shows the most beautiful American cars since the mid 1940's till the mid 1950's. The years go by and the cars change accordingly.

I would give 100 marks to the 1998 action thriller film RONIN starring Robert De Niro and Jean Reno. There are some wonderful car chases in an Audi and BMW.

Amazing movie and really well shot too.should watch with a 5.1 surround system .

There was a similar movie which I saw over a decade ago but it remains freash as a flower in my memory.

The movie is called Christine (name of the car). It is a red car which has a life of its own and kills people who dont treat her or the owner well. Nice movie. Best part is that the car repairs itself on its own after bearing the brunt of some vicious smashing from the owner-kid's college mates.

Now wouldn't you want a car like that? I certainly would.
