I saw Russel Peters and absolutely loved him. On the other hand - I happened to watch a Vir Das show on TV and thought he was pathetic BUT I attended a Radio Mirchi awards function and Vir Das was absolutely rocking - brought the house down.

How come no one seems to watch Whose Line Is It Anyway? No votes for any of those guys so far.

George Carlin all the way.
i absolutely loved the stand up regarding the 10 commandments which IMO was brilliant.
sienfield was good
i love watching Whose line is it any way also.

Recent times Jeff Dunham seems to tickle my funny bone a bit.
Russell peters is lame and basically a racist.Im still surprised he is alive and not shot by any one of the groups which he makes fun of a lot(apart from Indians who think they deserve credit for him making fun of them).

Just started watching stand-up comedians recently. My favorites would be Jeff Dunham especially Achmed and Russell Peters.

Jerry , no one?

Jerry Seinfeld !
Just started watching it < Season 2 -->
the monologues are amazing !

peek:
JERRY: I have to tell you that I did some very exciting news recently, and I don't know if I should really tell you exactly what it is because it's really not a definite thing yet.
Well, I will tell you what I know so far. According to the information that I have in the envelope that I've received, it seems that I may have already won some very valuable prizes.
But, in all honesty, I have to say, I didn't even know I was in this thing. But, according to the readout, it looks like I am among the top people that they are considering.
You know, that's what annoys me about the sweepstakes companies, they always tease you with that, "You may have already won."
I'd like once for a sweepstakes company to have some guts, come out with the truth, just tell people the truth one time. Send out envelopes, "You have definitely lost!"
You turn it over, giant printing, "Not even close!"
You open it up, there's this whole letter of explanation, "Even we cannot believe how badly you've done in this contest."

haha ha !

try this in free time /can go through the monologues at least !!
Seinfeld Monologues

Care.

Ace.

Most of the names above including Jeff Dunham, Dave Chapelle, Russel Peters. Dennis Leary.
I am surprised no one brought up the Brits - Rowan Atkinson, Ohmid Djalili, Stephen K Amos, Bill Bailey.

Here's the link from where i first discovered them.

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
