My experience say, there is no word like "Outstanding" in Managers dictionary. You are either good or bad.

Skill can be borrowed or worse, be stolen.
Remember the scene from 3idiots where AK did all the studying in the engineering college, yet the degrees & the pictures on the wall were of JJ's.
Movie proves beyond doubt that Money Can Buy Education so very easily.

But again who was using that education better? AK or JJ?
you can buy certificates but you can't buy knowledge.

But that is not skill, that is a certificate of knowledge. One of the huge differences indian education system failed to understand

If your example itself, if it were real, yes JJ had the certificates but he has no idea how to use the tools.

JJ can pay someone to use the tools but then he buying services and not skills.

Cheers

+1 to that!

A lot of folk spend a lot of money on absolutely gawdy, tasteless stuff.

Well spoken, Wolfheart!

Money can't buy:

- Character
- Intelligence
- Personality
- Wisdom

On the other hand, a combination of these can get you a whole lot of money

Hmmm... let's see. Money can't buy you experience and a degree from the University of HKL (Hard Knocks of Life).

Conversely, money can't buy you the youth you lost to gain your experience either. Colouring your hair is fine, but any amount of money won't make it grow black again.

True Love
True friends
True Happiness
Inner satisfaction

I have used the word True cos if you lose all your money and you still have the above 4 it means you still are the richest among all

IMO, 'Vitamin M' can't buy you 'Peace Of Mind' regarding anything which is of concern to you.

What do you all think?

Try the corporate hospitals - sure, money can buy health!
And parents love the richer sibling more than the poorer one. Often the case in this country.

Money can buy the company that khadoos manager works for. Then ask him for another appraisal rating!

Often, more money = more peace of mind. Pending bills with no money to pay them certainly destroys peace of mind!

But then, money can't buy you a mind! or common sense.
