3 Idiots vs Avatar 3D

Fellow BHPians,

Undoubtedly two great movies, different concept, different appeal & different imagination brought to reel cinema very very creatively. Given a chance which one would you rate better.

My vote goes to Avatar 3D.

It is like something which guides to basic issue all over the worl but in a very very creative & unimaginable way Kudos!!!

to be very frank... I dont know what the fuss is all about regarding the 3 Idiots. To me its a very average movie and they arent even in the same ballpark. A film like Avatar would comes only once a decade if not a centuary.
No comparison and my vote obviosuly goes to the Avatar.

Edit: Voted for 3 Idiots accidently. Can mods change my vote to Avatar 3D

lol i dont even know why this poll exists.
3 idiots can in now way be compared to avatar ,avatar is in an completely different class alone.
3 idiots portrays a good message but the direction was substandard and more commercialised.
on the other hand Avatar will go down as one of the best (if not the best movie) film's of this decade.

without a doubt Avatar 3d. The sound, the CGI, the Pandora, the acting, the action, all thru the eyes of James Cameron is a sight to behold.

3 idiots is good, but at places it becomes too filmy (over the top). if you know what i mean.

Both the movies are good, however my pick is 3 Idiots.

I feel that Avatar is more a visual treat and lacks strong plot & necessary elements to characterise a movie

Agreed that there might be many flaws in script, direction and research in 3I, but Amir's acting and some sequences are simply too good.

In the movie you laugh, cry and emphathise with characters & come home impressed - that is 3I success over 3D effect I would say

I'm not really good at maths, but soon we're gonna have a million threads here at TBHP!!
