Something helpful . . .

Recently Dr. Narendra Vaidya , a trauma surgeon from Sion Hospital has
started EMS [Emergency Medical Services] on the Mumbai-Pune expressway. This
is with joint efforts from MMRDA and Sion Hospital, Mumbai. This emergency
care is certified by American College of Surgeons. The service provides well
equipped ambulance service on the expressway for any trauma within 15 mins.

Everyone should have its emergency contact nos.

Landline- 022-27659000
Mobile - 9822498224

More info can be found by contacting Sion Hospital or MMRDA.

Please store the number on your respective cell phones.

Please forward it to all your near ones and dear ones.

manson.

p.s. hope you guys never really need this number though.

This is one of the greatest implemented service. One of my friend met with a fatal accident in Tambaram-Thindivanam National highways. This patrol service came to the spot within 10 mins of the accident. Not sure who had informed them. They took his wife to a different place, just to move her away from the spot ( she was not aware that her husband is dead then)

Those guys did an excellent job by taking out the mobile phone from his pocket, found out home number & passed on the message ( message they conveyed is minor accident).

This service is saving a lot of people lives. Hats off to Highways patrol services.

Just received this info. a couple of days back, maybe the same mobile number has been passed on to this team now because of it already being well known amongst the regular users of the expressway.

Hey,

I agree with Adya. This number is the emergency breakdown number which is dispalyed at several places along the expressway. It has been there since the expressway started complete operations.
