Completely agree. This is all a matter of encashing a beleaguered company's woes.

Everyone of us has made mistakes in driving - its only unfortunate that this gent's mistake costed lives. While he could be true - I personally find it media driven ... though of course, it does merit an investigation

perfectly fine. But you are totally defeating the purpose of your autobox and cruise control . These are supposed to do all that for you automatically.

you could be driving a manual transmission and not notice a difference.
