hi rsjaurr!!
good that you have decided on one of the best B+ cars in india (prolly the best)..
the only problem you could have with the car is the A/S/S, so just check if the guys service around your place are good!!! if you are not so bothered about A/S/S, then the palio is the way to go

see if you could go in for the 1.6 Sport!!!
that would be the best option, still the 1.2 ELX is a very good selection!!!

BTW, welcome to the forum, and have a great time!!!

you can have a lot of info from the group for the palio!!!
just search for the "palio", and you would be amazed at what tbhpians have to say about this amzg car!!!

Do you have a palio dealer in batala. If you are planning to come to ludhiana for serviceing your fiat its better to look at someone else

Why it cannot be a Palio?

Why it cannot be a Palio, he has made a correct decision. Now no more worrying about ASS or spares, since FIAT has signed MoU with TATA, very soon TATA will be sharing its ASS to FIAT's also in India & vice versa globally.

Only problem with Palio as far as I know is..It was launched 3 years earlier than it should have been. Majority of us expected it to give a mileage greater than 15kmpl in City.

Now since getz, swift has come into the market, Palio has a comparable competitor. and people will start logically comparing Palio's mileage with getz & swift.

Is this confirmed or more of speculation? I thought, Fiat India operations were not getting affected (+ve or -ve) by this alliance. But definitely Palio, as a car, is among the best in its class.

Hi Guys

whats this news on CNBC that Indian Fiat is going to pack up??? If yes,a heart break for me....

Palio dealer is in Amritsar which is 35 km away from Batala. So servicing wont be problem for me.[At least going for it]

Now anyone who wants to buy Palio is not a difficult person to judge.I have heard that it offers best ride, handling quality, style, safety, performane, very spacious, nice to drive on highways and good looking with decent average.AND I THINK PALIO IS BETTER THAN SWIFT,GETS AND SAIL IN THESE ASPECTS.Correct me if i am wrong.
I always wanted a car like that.

My Needs-Not much...I will drive it 20km in a day twice a week on straight road.[10+10] .And once in month for 100 km drive and once in 3-4 150 km and once in a yr to a hill station. We r a family of 5

My 2nd choice wud be Getz GVS for 4.52 with 22k discount in cash or accessories.Plaio ELX is for 4.3 lacs with 10 k accessories or 8 k cash.As swift's waiting period is long, cant wait for it bcoz i will be buying in festival season.

And i think my choice is really between Palio 1.2NV ELX or Getz GVS.
So guys plz help me out.

Thanx in advance

Ravinder

Getz the Getz and shod it with alloys with your eyes closed.. if Ford have got good ASS in your area.. then there is a very good offer for Ford 1.6 Josh machine.. that a value for money and true performer offer.

Hey dude,
Welcome aboard.
The Palio is still one of the best B segment cars at its current price.
The ride, handling, looks, safety and build quality are better then the Getz which is slightly bigger and faster.
Also, i doubt that Fiat will leave India as it has just signed an MoU with TATA.
