What happened?

The database got corrupted? I could not access Team-BHP for quite sometime starting yesterday afternoon. I actually was suffering from withdrawal symptoms. Was wondering what was going on. Is there some way an e-mail can be sent out to members saying that the site is up/down.

I even sent a mail to the webmaster.

Who is the webmaster btw? GTO?

Which DBMS is it GTO ? Pg?

Could you -or any admin- provide some details of the system that powers TBHP? OS, DB, hardware etc. ?

Thought my LAN admin guy had blocked the access to this DF; but then the error message was not that...

I had to call some of my friends in and around the city to check if the site was working from there place.

....was really mad till I saw the site back to normal...

To those of you who missed the T-BHP while it was down I really appreciate the dedication you guys have for this cause.

To those of you who broke your F5 (refresh) keys, could not eat, sleep or even watch TV (wondering when T-BHP would be up again), and for those of you who had enough time to clean out their closets, do laundry, and have their annual bath (while T-BHP was down) I say GET A LIFE! :-)
