any one attending this @ Bangalore? Some of MS demos were awesome!

Any one tried MS surface/ XBOX 3D?:thumbs up

When is this event? Are they also demo'ing Project Natal?

We got a chance to play with the Microsoft Surface a little at the Auto Expo `10, since Maruti had it at their stall.

Attended TECH-ED way back in 2004 as i was deputed in Microsoft India. Felt that its just an organized advertisement/launch of their products and not a actually a learning forum

Almost all Technology seminars in India are sales pitch, developers who by mistake attend these can't wait to jump out of the nearest window.:) I stopped attending after a few of those.

I really miss the tech-seminars in US where they don't let sales guys talk for more than few minutes. Those are really developer nirvana type meets.

Couple of my team members gave presentations on POC's worked on MS emerging technologies yesterday and are now in Top 3. This forum attracts participation not just from top SI's but any IT company can participate and demonstrate their work.

As I type this, they are due for a second round of presentations and hoping they come back with the top prize for our company.:thumbs up

I reckon they gave a presentation on the POC worked on Azure ( MS cloud computing system).

Hope they came out as toppers, havent checked till now. Will do it soon.
