I'll make this short. Our old member, manaa45's father has been hospitalised since Saturday. He was operated on today. Blood is needed (A+ or O+)
If anyone can help, please send me a PM and I will pass on the information to her.

Just an aside - Shiv Sainiks donated some 25000 units of blood last weekend (IIRC). In 90% probability the blood banks should have sufficient quantity as of now. no?

Thanks a lot for all the help Addy.

My dad was operated upon yesterday but before that and even now, he needs plasma, which has alreadybeen given to him. Luckily there was no bleeding during the operation/procedure which was a scopy.

@ Woldheart, will call u in ten minutes. Right now we have managed three bottles.

Dear All

Many thanks for all the words of courage, really helped a lot in those trying times.

We have managed all six bottles of replacement and now special thanks again to Addy for starting this thread on my request as i couldnt access tbhp, heartfelt thanks to Nitesh Narang ( neo from capone ) member here, who came all the way from Malad to donate blood.

Also thanks to others who have offered to donate and this piece of information that Hiranandani Hospital has a wonderful blood bank and they are in need of A+ blood as on today. It would be beneficial to other patients as it was to us.

My dad is on his path to receovry, he has responded well to the treatment and would be shifted out of ICU very soon. keeping my fingers crossed.
