Here is one mail received by a team member. Have had read about this in paper some time back. One can read the mail and know how badly formated mail it is which is enough to start doubting it. Strange that people actually fall for this.

But there are some grammar mistakes in the mailer, by close reading one will have doubts whether this is written by a real HR person of a reputed company or not.

There are many mistakes in the letter, but the award should go to " Account NO 3726000102190005 - Name of –TATA COUNSULTANCY SERVICES LIMITED"

So did Deutsche Bank actually open an account for someone in the name of Tata Counsultancy Services? Also, while depositing the money, do they not check what name is written , as long as the account number is mentioned and you're depositing cash?

And why does one need "careful" reading to figure out that this wasn't written by anyone remotely connected to any half-decent corporate establishment? ?

He will inform you that there are many such vacancies in NZ and asks you to send the resume.

Upon Reciept of the resume, He will persuade you to send the money for sending you the sponsership letter to visit NZ by applying the Visitor's Visa. He handholds you to fill the visa application form and that's where he makes sure that your visa will not be granted. Prime Reason: "He will instruct you to clearly write the purpose of visit to search for the job in NZ." Unfortunately i had fallen for it as i had never travelled abroad then in 2003.

Upon submitting the visa application to NZ embassy in Newdelhi, Your visa will be rejected.

Then he vanishes, You will never be able to trace him or get the money.

Hence kindly beware of this as well.

Wow, next level of Nigerian scam. They do seem to have done some good research on company name/address. I was just cross checking if the names they use are genuine and I came across this -
