Camouflaged BMW X3 causes bomb scare in NY

A camouflaged BMW X3 caused a bomb scare in New York. The X3 was left idling in the street by the test driver who stopped to take some fresh air, a passer by found the camouflaged vehicle suspicious and called up the Police.

It took NYPD several hours to inspect the vehicle, at the end they had smash the rear and side glasses to check the vehicle. The Authorities were surprised to see even the interiors covered with the tarp.

Oh well, I ain't surprised

The western world has gotten paranoid thanks t0 terror attacks. On the other hand we have gotten used to it!

To be honest, no terrorist would ever use a vehicle as ostentatious as that. Come on! A camouflaged vehicle grabs attention on the road and a terrorist with a bomb wants to be as discreet as he can.

Nonetheless, its better safe than sorry and given the recent real bomb threats, you can't blame the police for doing what they did.
