Thats true and what i heard after i moved in. But in the case according to residents, this is the worst till now with water upto the neck. But on 26th when Nugambakkam had knee deep waters this road was relatively free, Only because some lake got filled up nearby, the lake started overflowing into this road too.

But today, Vinobaji street, Kamraj nagar street & Gandhi road had water till neck and took 45 mins to wade across and come the main road.

Yeah, I meant it had water till 2 feet as my colleague was not able to enter the road and cops were deviating the traffic.

You sure have some guts to come out of your home in neck deep water

Srikanth,

How are you planning to come back home in this water. Heard a lake(Retteri i guess) near Ambattur has been opened so expect more flooding in and around annanagar.

Ok back to my story now. I must be there in loyola at 8:30AM for an exam. With Mogappair road completely cut off , the only option for me is to go to Padi and take a bus. But not too sure of the frequency of the bus services.

I agree there is one more option of giving the exam a miss which i would love to but that will be the last option.
