I like Nescafe instant coffee.
About half a teaspoon of coffee added to hot water with one tablespoon of milk.
No Sugar.

While I love Filter Kaapi, this combination is my current favorite

My taste buds rejected instant coffee long ago (not to offend bblost and likes). At work, I have access to coffee machine but fancying a cuppa at home means a run to a coffee shop. So, recently bought a basic Sunbeam coffee maker to calm those coffee cravings on evenings/weekend.

It takes grounded beans.
Thanks to the purchase, I crave for a hot-frothy-chocolaty cuppa every evening nowlol:

any suggestions on where to buy good filter coffee (powder) in Delhi?

My French press just broke. Looking to buy a machine. What are the features to look for and at what cost. Don't intend to spend a bomb. I drink black or with a spoon of milk.

I have a Black and Decker machine. Load it up with water and coffee at night and my coffee is ready at 7 am sharp! I wake to the aroma of Folgers coffee.

Spencers, Reliance Fresh should have it. Buy Coorg or Kothas. Chicory content not to exceed 20 %.

If you are looking for South Indian roast & grind shops, try Karol Baugh, Munirkha areas.

If you have regular black coffee or coffee with milk, you can get a decent coffee machine for approx. 1800-2500 bucks. There are several options from bajaj, inalsa, black & decker, morphy richards etc.

But if you like espressos, get a pump based machine. This has a much higher pressure (15 bars as compared to 3 bars in the cheaper machines), the higher pressure gives you an espresso with a proper thick crema that you get at CCD/ barista. These machines are available for 10-15000 bucks. But if you can live without the crema, the 2000 buck machines will do just as fine.

Thanks Sam, for this thread.

Buying imported coffee is really a waste of money. Especially these big brand coffees. I love the coffee we get in India. It is delicious and really very affordable.

Sam ??? Davidoff paid you ? :D

I am going to get a Coffee maker this month for sure - next time anyone visits my home, he/she will be coffee from freshly ground beans ..bas !

Try at nearest COFFEE CAFE DAY (CCD).
You'll get good advise & better pricing than going at buying one at shop which has no idea why they are selling this thing.

Shabba Khair.

Delonghi EC152 Pump Espresso Coffee Machine | eBay

Morphy Richards Roma Pump coffee Maker | eBay

coffee maker, coffee machine, pump espresso maker, pod coffee maker, italian | eBay

Hi Sam, thanks for the information about Dukens. I honestly would never have found it on my own. It is a really nice shop, with loads of coffee
The funny part was explaining how I got to know about the place! The conversation was something like.. " Auto website, umm, different thread, umm, Coffee!!, umm never mind, its a long story!" Well she took my word for it, that it was a long story.
The owner and his assistant are both really helpful, and although they generally sell in bulk, they are nice enough to blend and pack 1 kg. bags.
It is best, however, to call before going.
