This trained singer Rajesh Burbure aged 35, from Nagpur has been singing since 22nd July 2010 (1100hrs) and will be ending his marathon crooning on 25th July at 1900 hrs, in his attempt to set his new record in the Guinness Book of World Records.The existing record for such a similar feat is by a Korean who sang for a continuous 76 hours.There is a doctor in attendance and the usual people who keep the record of his feat for justification.
Rajesh, a family man with two children is singing Hindi songs , mainly the older evergreen hits with his list of songs, lyrics and sound systems to play karaoke in the background for each of his carefully selected song.There is an audience of at least more than fifty at any given time, given the publicity he has received in the media.
His voice is excellent and it was entertaining to sit through in the audience this morning (24/07/2010) and listen to three songs from among the many he was rendering.Two were old Kishore Kumar hits and one was from Rafi (Baar baar Dekho).

And he has set the World record on Sunday 25th July 2010 singing for a continuous 80 hours! He said that Yoga had helped him stay awake for 3/4 nights continuously during practice sessions.He is a Yoga teacher too!
