Re: The Cricket Thread

India & WI doing their bit to make the ODI format still interesting & relevant! Axar has worked on his hitting skills & suddenly Siraj has become a better ODI bowler since that 5th Test.

Where are they streaming the India Vs WI matches? Can't find them on Hotstar and Sony Liv. What channels are telecasting this live?

Re: The Cricket Thread

There are economical options to subscribe and watch these matches live on Fancode app, either on smartphone or smart TV.

Frenchman Gustav McKeon now holds the record for the youngest man to score a T20I century.
(Yes, Frenchman! You read it right )

Re: The Cricket Thread

I was watching the Eng V SA highlights on Youtube. 15 minutes for a 20-20 game was very pathetic to be honest.
There was a some brilliant batting by Ali, Bairstow and Hendricks. Funny how they jumped from SA at 2 overs 12/2 to directly 6 overs 56/2 without showing even a single boundary or six within that time frame.

I really feel that the highlights should be of atleast 30 minutes to an hour.

Its commendable on ECB's part that they're showing it for free on Youtube! I prefer the 1 hr highlights which Sony Six airs. 30mins is the sweet spot though.

Sony LIV's highlight for the same amount of 15 mins was much better. I hate the guy who edited Moin's blitzkrieg of an inning out!

My Playing XI: Asia Cup

R Sharma (c)
KL Rahul
SKY
S Iyer
H Pandya
R Pant (wk)
DK / Deepak Hooda
R Jadeja
B Kumar
M Shami / Y Chahal
J Bhumrah
12th Man: A Patel

Depending on the pitch will play Chahal instead of Shami. Hooda is showing he is in red hot form and is looking very aggressive.

Re: The Cricket Thread

Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh AGAIN!

After winning the T20I series 2-1, Zimbabwe have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series following a 5-wicket victory in the second match. Sikander Raza has been the star performer for Zimbabwe with both bat and ball scoring back to back tons and chipping in with some crucial wickets. His all-round performance was instrumental in Zimbabwe's T20I series win as well. Raza has been a consistent performer for his country for sometime now and currently he is in red-hot form. It is really refreshing to see Zimbabwe perform the way they are currently.

Slight change:
-SKY at #4
-Kohli at #3

Kohli will henceforth play all matches till the WC unless he is dropped

One of my childhood's most loved team especially Andy Flower, Neil Johnson, Henry Olanga, Streak and their exceptional fielding and never give up attitude. I wish they take this form and beat Pakistan, WI, England and once a while give India a tough fight!

Re: The Cricket Thread

Just read news that former ICC Elite Panel umpire Rudi Koertzen is no more.
The South African died in a car crash.
One of the best and well respected Umpires of the game.
Rest in peace Rudi

Iyer isn't part of main squad. He is on standby.
Shami isn't in squad or standby.

Rohit
KL
Kohli
Sky
Pant
Hardik
Jadeja

Most probably this will be the starting 7 barring injuries.

Surprised with Shami not been considered. Shreyas had played pretty well over the last 2 months. However not surprised that BCCI continues playing an out of form batter - Kohli instead. In all probability we will see the line up mentioned by you unless Rohit wants to open with Pant (which will be a good move)
