Who's rooting for Sri Lanka in today's Asia Cup Finals?

Although Pakistan are a great team, the fighting spirit shown by the young Sri Lankan team is worth applauding and I sincerely hope they put a great show in the final.

Well, if you go through my post history in this thread you will see how much i have been criticizing Dravid since SA tour. I am not into hero worshipping and if someone isn't doing his job properly he should be called out irrespective of our personal feelings about that person. From what I have seen so far, Shastri was a better Coach/Man manager than Dravid. Win or loss happens but if we aren't rectifying the mistakes moving forward then Coach and Captain have to be blamed.

I want SL to win. They were the underdogs and with their country in crisis they have shown tremendous spirit during the whole tournament. Winning will be a deserving award for them. Although on paper Pakistan have an edge due to better bowling attack.

Sri Lanka should win, it will create enough competitive cricket in the subcontinent. Since few of us have been caled "experts", my comment is that we are definitely better than BCCI in putting our views. Our teambhp forum is not influenced by any regional or political interests nor admits any new member because he is connected to any political party.

The opening 6 overs has put them in very good position to become the champions. Best team in the tournament, totally deserved.

What a comeback from the Sri Lankans after losing the first 5 wickets for just 58 runs. Sri Lanka now have runs on the board. Even though the target is not a huge one, chasing in a big final is never easy. Interesting chase coming up!

Negates the last ball six by Rajpaksha. Small things which will have big impact in the overall result. Get Rizwan out early and we have a good match to watch.

Two consecutive big matches and Pakistan has choked in both the big matches and they were outright favorites for both the matches.

1. T20 World Cup Semi-Final (2021)
2. Asia Cup Final (2022)

It was a very poor defensive captaincy by Pakistan today and Rajapaksa cleaned them up for that weakness

The fort of Rizwan at one end was the key for SL win here. His ODI style innings in a chase reminds me of our own KL Rahul's.

Rizwan and Iftekhar faced 80 of the 120 deliveries and scored 87 runs combined. Pakistan lost the game due to this pathetic slow batting which does not have any place in this format.

High time we get rid of deadweight in our team before the World T20. We just don't stand a chance with this top 3 and excuse of bowlers like Bhuvi and Chahal.
