This match seems to be out of hand for us, also I was seeing the Australian team record, they have won 20 out of last 21 matches and one that they lost was also a shortened match, what consistency.
This Australian outfit is the best cricket team ever, even better than the likes of 70s WIs and late 90s Aus men.

This Australian women’s cricket team is head and shoulders better than the rest. Everyone else only plays for second best. Their dominance is very reminiscent of Ricky Ponting’s team, where it took the opposition playing out of their skins + some of the Aussies having a rare off day to even have a chance of winning.
Ind W in a big spot of bother with 3 wickets down for 28 runs. I reckon we are out of the world cup unless Rodrigues or Harman bat out of their skin today.
For the women team, time to inculcate better fitness and fielding standards.
Damn, the last over was our undoing, went for too many runs. Girls fought really well, but 172 was always going to be a tough chase.
Kaur played well but was very tired and made a silly mistake, she was timing it really well. Bad luck!!
Atrocious batting by the women's team:Frustrati. They should learn from MSD on how to take it deep.
Heartbreaking loss, but well played girls. Loved the intent of Kaur & Jemi in powerplay. They showed the way to bat in a big game to oour men’s team. Even after losing 3 quick wickets, they didn’t slow down and reached 60/3 in 6 overs, while our men’s team would at best be 35/0 (looking at you Mr. forum favourite). Kaur’s runout just took the game away from us else this game could be over in by 19th over. That runout was as much heartbreaking as MSD’s in that 19 semifinal.
FIELDING was the difference between two sides.
While Australians were brilliant on the field, especially in the deep saving crucial boundaries, Indians were too erratic which eventually cost them the match.
The way Harmanpreet and Jemimah were batting, India were in with a great chance. Some of the shots the duo played were delightful to watch. Both got out in a rather unfortunate manner. The Indian women lost, not without a fight though. Tough luck!
I think the women's team deserve a better coach.
Someone from the men's A team with a good track record, like Shikar Dhawan or Yuvraj Singh for example.
Players should put nation's interest first, compensation be damned.
Any committed individual listening.

That’s a bit harsh, they were very much on driving seat till the run out of Hamanpreet. Then it’s the lower order and inexperience, so can’t blame them much. At least they fought well.

The way England playing the test cricket is really mesmerizing. Their attacking approach so far working for them very much.
Against NZ, they scored 320 odd runs with 2 sessions and declared with a wicket remaining. And on second innings, they are on more than run a ball even though wickets fell early on. |
Aah, England continues with their attacking approach even after 21/3 at one stage. They are at 315/3 in 65 overs and the rain arrived to save NZ.

An

if not perfect. :thumbs up
Makes total sense as well. In Nagpur when India could score 400 in one innings there was no excuse for the Aussies to crumble twice. Same in Delhi.
Oh, except there is a difference between the teams. The genius spinners of India. clap:

I doubt the Indian batsmen can do any better against the Indian bowling attack. Especially the top 6 pure batsmen that played across both test matches.
With the exception of Rohit Sharma, I doubt they can even cross 50 runs combined.

You are bang on.
Rohit is certified great against spin.
Iyer too plays spin very well.
Kohli and pujara struggle against likes of Murphy so no way they can tackle our spin trio.
I would love to see Ash and Jaddu against Pant. That will be fun to watch.
KL doesn't qualify as he is rubbish against everyone be it pace or spin.:D

To me, only Sachin, Laxman, Saurav, Sehwag and to some extent Rahul (no, not KL rl: ) could have handled this quality of spin from Ashwin & Jadeja successfully from recent generation of Indian batters.
I am excluding older generation of Indian batters from above since I haven't seen enough of them playing like Sunny, Vishy, etc
In the current team, probably Rohit is the only one that could come close (again may or may not be very successful).
