I'll stick my neck out and say that aussies are favourites to win this test at this juncture and if India don't get 2 wickets in next 50 runs they'll win.

The Indian shoulders have started to DROP :-( ..... they need a wicket quickly -- but with Bowden turning a blind eye to plumb appeals , it might take a bot longer before finger goes up !!!

I feel as Kumble wanted to take him off the bowling, Sehwag asked kumble to give him one more and it worked. Hence everybody might have hugged sehwag.

Khaadu,

As I had said earlier (in this thread) - Bowden is a refined version of Bucknor.

Right now , even though Ponting is gone, my feeling is the scales are tilted in the Aussies favour.

But - Chak De India.

260 runs required to win this test for aussies and I fear the worst.

Gilli and Symonds are known to minimize the gap with their aggressive batting style of scoring quick runs.

When Gilli steps in with a target of less than 150, I take it in aussies favor as he goes for attacking cricket to close the deal.

So within next 100 runs, we need to get atleast 3 wickets

Edit: HUSSEY GONE FOR RP SINGH. We need to get another 2 wickets

Clarke is the man for me. Once he is in - Symonds and Gilly will go hammer and tongs.

ps - anyone following the Ranji trophy finals ? Its very interesting too

India 330 & 294
Australia 212 & 177/5 (49.4 ov)
Australia require another 236 runs with 5 wickets remaining

Day 4 - Session 2 Australia RR 3.56
Last 10 ovs 35/2 RR 3.50

Kumble to Symonds, OUT, gone! Kumble fires one in flat, and quick, at 102ks, pushing a surprised Symonds back in the crease and he's a sitter in front of middle and leg, Billy Bowden has no doubts and up comes the finger in a flash

Symonds gone for Kumble

I want Gilli to get out soon and the job is finished

Indians riding on their luck too

Well, the replays are very very interesting at this crucial juncture of the game. There was a big inside edge and Symonds indicated that to the umpire. He was mighty disappointed walking back to the hut.
