That was a awesome match, i think Ganguly, Tandulkar need to retire and youngsters need to play. I dont know much about cricket but experienced players like Ganguly are too political IMO.

Anyways a nice match and well played India. Just two words for the finals : Chak De

5.30 pm ? What bad timing for the final !! Couldn't it be at 9.30 pm ?

Unbelievable victory!!! At first it seemed impossible, but then the wickets fell and everything became clearer. Beware Pakistan!

BTW where is the next match?! Venue?!
If its not Durban, I think we're in trouble. But considering today's comeback, there is a great chance. Good luck to the Indian team!

Good. Second 50% taken care of. Now all that remains are the formalities to get the cup home on Monday.

Wow what a fantastic win! Loved the match & kudos to Jogi to bowl the last over like this, never thought he had it in him!

Also credit to Sreesanth, RP, Pathan & Harbhajan for a wonderful performance! Hell congrats to the whole team, they played fantastically well tonight!

Now there's the small matter of taking care of the Paki's!

Zapster - You were saying something?

Did you just say sreesanth is not good against lefties ??? & jogi to open ??? See how much we fault ? Great news for India though & I Think Joginder Sharma did just great.

You are right, he is bowling medium fast only now & it is still doing wonders for the team right now.

Both India and Pakistan have a huge fan following in SA. Millions more will be glued to TV sets, with endorsements and sponsorships pouring in. ICC, cricket boards and players must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Long live 20/20 cricket. Predictions for the finals:

Going by the book: Pakistan

Going by the bookies: Could be India.

rks, I am more pessimistic than you, but i would say India all the way, since this YOUNG Indian team will not be that easy to be bought as the poorly paid Young paki team.
