What an Innings from Yuvi ! The ball was all over the place. The best sixes were from Flintoff s bowling. England need 388 to win.

He can but he wont. Call it ego, style, whatever. He wont be a good test player(wish i am proved wrong though). A couple of tests he might do well but he wont stay in that groove for too long and lose his wicket and his place soon.

Best example of how best to adapt to all forms is Gambhir. He understands that he needs to be good in all forms to be in the Team. With Yuvraj its not so. Also its difficult to teach an old dog new tricks.

England 38/4. This is going to be a boring series - bring back the Aussies!

Really, if ODIs have to survive we got to have pitches where bowlers can make a mark as well. Although, I must add that the English bowled a lot of rank bad deliveries. What were they thinking? Full-tosses at comfortable height to the likes of Sehwag and Yuvi!

But, the fact remains that 300s are coming in with consummate ease as opposed to what we saw in the 90s. Moreso, 400s dont seem a distinct possibility these days if one of the frontline batsman decides to have a party on those flat tracks. Those little 250 innings and the chases were good fun and thats why ODIs prospered in the first place. Both teams atleast had a shot.

Oh, BTW. The match is over. Eng all out for 229.

Actually, I will take a 7-0 too! Pieterson is day dreaming stating all the while that there is no need to panic. Last couple of weeks, they have been beaten thoroughly in Stanford20/20, Mumbai XI and now at our hands!

But do we need to take this series seriously at all?

I wanted to say 7-0 myself however we should not be overconfident
Na dont take this series seriously. England will lose more badly in the tests. Just keep watching the rise of our team

Remember the losses to Kenya, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe? This is the exact reason.

Never take any side lightly in cricket. Thats the mantra, even the mighty Aussies have been embarrassed by the minnows for the same reason.

England is a better team than what was on display today. I will not put it beyond Flintoff with the bowl and KP with the bat to win some games for their team.

I think we should be happy with a 5-2 kinda scoreline. Regarding tests, lets see how many fit players we have for the series before making any predictions.

England 168/3; needs 125 to win in 14 overs.

Flintoff and Pietersen had forged a good partnership and are taking Indian bowlers to cleaners, especially RP Singh.

For once India is under pressure. From here on my money is on England, where is yours?

Now the equation is 110 needed off 13 overs. My money is firmly on England. India blew it big-time.

Flintoff and Pietersen combining to give the Indians a run for their money in Indore. 182/3 and the last 5 overs have produced 56 runs.
