If he gives 2 runs in next 2 deliveries, his figures will read 2.2-2-2-2

Even if Australia makes 250+ it will be difficult to our boys as aussies will come back with vengeance. And they want to finish off this series with a high note. Let's wait and see.........

RP Singh comes on to bowl, commentator on Cricinfo says -

RP Singh gets a recall into the attack, around the stumps. He bowled a ton of wides earlier.

And what he does -

24.1 Singh to Haddin, 1 wide, and its another bad ball, full and wide outside off for another wide

I can't understand Dhoni. If spinners are doing good why can't he try Sachin or Yuvraj. Instead of offering RP's rubbish to aussies.

I really cannot understand what Mr.Dhoni thought while bowling Ganguly in a team equipped with 5 frontline bowlers. He bowled worse than the worst bowler (RP Singh). I mean, is it difficult to bowl with 4 bowlers and get the fifth bowler (RP Singh) to bowl small spells (of 2 overs each)?

I hope we now restrict them to <250 and win this match :(

26.1Singh to Ponting, OUT, edged and gone! Big wicket for RP, coming around the stumps again and bowling it a touch short, tempting Ponting to sway back and cut, but the result it a thick outside-edge which Dhoni snaps up RT Ponting c Dhoni b Singh 57 (128m 78b 9x4 0x6) SR: 73.07

Danger man out. 129/5.

Hope we get quick wickets and restrict them below 250.

At this rate I doubt the Aussies will even reach 200.

I'll rather back Haddin and Hopes for a 120 run partnership and 17-18 overs, and Aussies for a 280 score :-(

P.S. Well Hopes is proving me right. He creamed 2 fours in the very same over of RP.

Haddin also got lucky with another one in RP's next over ;-)

\N

Edit: Another four on RP's nexy ball. He is leaking runs. We can't afford that.

Re-edit: Next two ***** are wide.

Re-re-edit: 11 runs in the over. His figures are 7-0-59-1. Economy of 8.42

I rest my case.

Haddin out. Ball is turning square -

29.2 Kartik to Hopes, no run, that turned! kartik gets it to turn square from leg to off and squares up Hopes on the backfoot. Lucky not to edge that to the close in fielders .

I wonder whether we have given too many runs already :-?

\N

Another one bites the dust - Hogg out.

Is it another Mumbai dust-bowl?

Oh..no. Not again. Lee out first ball. Now I am certain Hogg, Clarke and Symonds will be un-playable on this pitch.

And they are doing good. Partnership of 11 runs for the ninth wicket and going. I tell you on this wicket every single run will matter.
