I just hope Sehwag clicks. If not,he's gonna make a lot of people angry. He's been given so many chances, and there's a lot of new talent thats waiting to get onto the squad, ODI or test.

The selectors havent for sure , thats all they remember and thats the only reason he is in the team. Not his current form but his past record and thats the saddest part

Its a gamble. Its true that thats where their heart lies. But Sehwag and Yuvraj are the only 2 blokes who can turn the tide within a session. The selector's have gone with horses for their wishes, I'm hoping for everyone's sake that it comes true.

The problem is, its highly unlikely that they will play together in the same 11

This is a gamble worth taking.

He is out injured. Shoulder problem.

Actually good for him; Hayden would have killed him otherwise

Good for Sreesanth . Otherwise, the people in Australia would hve made mockery of him.

Regarding sehwag, I feel the selectors are trying to get him back to ODI's atleast for this series. That's why he has been selected for test. If he performs well in tests, then he will be included in ODI's.

Sreesanth would have been slaughtered if he went to Australia. Symmonds said there'd be fireworks, but he promised to keep things easy. Well, good that the former ended up with an injury. The Aussie crowd was all set to rip him apart.

I wonder if Sehwag would be able to pull off anything worthwhile. If not,it'll be bye-bye to the blue uniform.

Cricinfo - Ganguly attributes success to batting at No. 4
Sachin Tendulkar has been India's No. 4 for ages. Now the ball is in Sachin's court. How will he get back for this?

I think Sehwag has got one final chance to prove and if he misses out this time, he will be relegated to a point of no return and i think luck is in favor and i am forced to think that way as with practically no runs even in domestic circuit and also not being in the 24 probables, who would have thought, that he will be in.

These selectors are very unique and they dont disappoint me anytime with their surprises.

There are many others available and why he has been selected? Maybe political pressure/BCCI pressure? When he has not performed in the domestic circuit, then what can we expect of him in down under?? Last chance...maybe yes.
