Welcome to reality! And the run-rate is a "healthy" & realistic 3.05 now. By the way guys, try this link, seems to be updating quicker than the ones we normally use -

I'd still say it is a decent start for perth. Now it is up to the fab 4 to take us past 400.

Here is the explanation (courtesy: cricinfo.com)
"The pitch was a batting beauty when Jaffer and Sehwag were at the crease, but got difficult when Dravid came out (as usual). It seems the pitch is easing out into a batting beauty again."

Pretty decent partnership here between Sachin and Dravid, 61 runs. Hoping Dravid to capitalize the sitter dropped by Clarke when he is on 10+ score

The pitch is playing true & reasonable from ball number one. It was just the media hype.

Well well good partnership between the two. How did sehwag and jaffer fall. As in i know both were caught behind but how difficult was the ball?

118 runs worth partnership betweeen Sachin and Dravid with both of them getting into their half centuries.

Hmm its home ground for Rogers, Gilli and Hussey and not sure how much on the board would be enough for a minimum draw

My bet is on Ishant Sharma to clean up the Aussies. If we can put 400, we can win this test.

Lee to Tendulkar, OUT, this time Lee gets his man, as he pitches on a short length and gets Tendulkar back in the crease, playing down the wrong line and copping it very, very high on the knee roll again, umpire Rauf takes his time to give it out ... replays show it was indeed high and going over the top of off stump ... another of those marginal calls and Tendulkar shakes his head as he walks off
Sad to see Sachin walk back unhappily.

Its important not to loose wickets in a row from now
