These bloody aussies, won't let us have a world record. India all out for 74, missed the record by a whisker.

Aussies do have T20 world record

Aussies were all out in 14.3 overs in a T20 match with their umbilical cord England

no team has broken it so far. India tried very hard today but unable to break it. or is it that Aussies did not allow it?

9081896103 . these are the scores made by Indian batsmen today barring pathan who made 26

Another one bites the dust.Aussies was done for being over-confident in the 3rd test and now T-20 champs India bit it.A very sad display of cricket :-(

.....young blood, eye to the 2011 WC.......

They can't last a T20, they're going to make waves in 50 overs ODIs!!!

Diabloo, where are you (sounds like the Scooby Doo theme though); you better get your thinking cap out & come up with some ludicrous justifications - and I'm sure you will not disappoint us

But given all this, wonder what Dhoni was thinking by batting first? With the kind of atmosphere in the MCG, he should have given his 'young boys' a chance to cool their nerves by selecting bowling first. Even experienced candidates in Sehwag, Gambhir and Uthappa fell to rash shots. This was a nerve racking approach by the Indians today. In the WC, they always tried to spend some time before going for their shots.
Clearly, the youngster's couldn't find their teeth when the bullet was looming large...
Whatever it is, this is the team that we have to go with, selecector's are a thick skinned bunch of *** cheds so they won't revert on their original selection. We can only hope that Dhoni gets down back to earth and that his young boys learn as fast as they can.

Pathetic show by our young people. Its time Dhoni retd. hurt and took some rest. In today's match, the individual scores of players are like telephone nos except for pathan who reached two digits.

The ODIs will be a walk over for Ausies with all their strength coming to bat.

Dhoni said that the T20 match was going to be a warm-up session for the newcomers. Now we know it..they'll get their rear-ends kicked so bad in the ODI series.
If a 9 wicket win was part of the warm up,whats the 50 over game gonna hold for us?

And all of them seems to have gone in "we don't know what's happening in the world" mode like our (Young)Indian team.

dear friends....apart from our teams performance, i would like to draw your attention to something else.

i'm sure all of you would have noticed the booing harbhajan singh received from the aussie crowd. today, they have heckled muttiah murlidharan (its on the news).

when our countrymen boo and heckle players from oz, their press go to town decrying our primitive behaviour, but when they do it...it's justice!

i request all our countrmen to stand up against this superiority complex of the aussies. please protest in all public fora like the aussie online newspaper forums etc.

i also request you to prepare a grand welcome for symonds and his merry band of teammates when they come to us in september.

i usually believe that sport is above most issues...but in this case, we would be naive to assume so.
