@normally_crazy: I am not against Ishant making money, you assume a lot.

From the previous discussions try and see to who all the flak is being directed too. About Yuvi and Sehwag i would still go with them. Why? because they have proved themselves before. From the comments here it seems that we need to change every player that does not perform after one match.

Spitfire ,

I guess you are assuming a lot too and not reading. I have never said drop every player that does not perform.

Anyway this is a never ending debate.

So who all are waking up at 4 am to watch the semi final tomorrow ?

Thank god i am not alone!! I 2nd every word u wrote there.

Remember a series b/w India and NZ just before WC2003 when Sehwag got 2 tons and India lost that 6-match series 4-2.Sachin batted at no.4(was told though he never wanted to) and in one of match which India won barely chasing modest under 200 thanx to a ton by Sehwag,Sachin was given many deliveries outside of stump but he never tried to play those. When in WC2003 he was told to open he hit those deliveries for 4rs and 6es(remember that match against Pak).

I fully support present young team and if any senior deserves a place in present cricket that has to be Dravid and not Ganguly or Sachin.Sachin doesn't bowl his so effective leg spins these days and is no more than a avg fielder. He should concentrate now more on test cricket.I just hope he doesn't score in remaining matches o/w i know what media is going to write.

BTW if we have to always keep talking about 'past record' then why not bring back Kapil dev,Srikanth,Amarnath,Sandip Patil,Azhar etc?

Yes, we can go back to them except Kapil and Azhar. The former has been banned for joining ICL and the the latter for match fixing.

Well from what I could make out from the video I saw it was the bloody monkey who initiated it after getting bowled.

I have a feeling that his stint with the Hyderabad team might not turn out to be as pleasant as he thinks if he keeps on doing these antics. It's about time he's taught a lesson and a proper one at that where their bloody people don't come in with their biased judgments.

IPL I am not sure, but let him come to India with the Aussies in October. He will then realize how bad life can be for a cricketer whom the crowd HATES. I personally would like to throw a couple of monkey taunts at him like the guys in TOI front page.

Man, I should have got up - I can see that there was some brilliant bowling with Praveen Kumar & Ishant Sharma picking up 4 wickets a piece, SL all out for 179.

Sehwag rested, Uthappa opens, 10 runs from the first over! Go India go and don't make heavy weather of this modest total, D

India requires just another 43 runs in 26 overs with 8 wickets in hand

OK, they are coasting home. I wonder why they can't play like this consistently. Just 9 runs to get, Gambhir has got his 50, Yuvraj clicks for a change.

So guys, what was different today? Sehwag was dropped, what else?

EDIT: Yuvraj heard me lol, he's gone with the wind!
