Watched the last 4 overs on LCD screen over at the office canteen. Looked like half the office was parked at the canteen

Heard symonds can get ban for 5tests and 10 one days or can even go up to life ban.

spadival Well same was the condition in our small pantry with the room being packed for the last 20 overs of the match. Was awesome stuff and poor ponting gets only a STUMP to take home

Can you believe that some team had a meeting in the only floor where there is a TV in our office? Unfortunately, I did not get to watch the match, but was following cricinfo.

What a match it was! Good that India has given back to those foul-mouthed Aussie cricketers. They deserved what they got and we deserved what we got. Way to go, the young ones!

That was for the shoulder charge that Symonds gave to the streaker. You can read what happened here:

However he should escape any penalty as he was only defending himself. The streaker was running towards Symonds. And anyways knowing the "fair" refeering we've seen so far, its likely Symonds will get away scot free.

Back to the topic.

Ponting quoted that the third final will be unnecessary as they expected to win 2-0. I guess he meant India. :-)

Talk about Mental Disintegration !!

CONGRATULATIONS TEAM INDIA
For this magnificient victory. Unfortunately we dont have a TV inside the office.. but almost everyone were so concentrating on Cricinfo, cricket365, rediff, sify etc etc

.. What a relief after those tense moments.
Tomorrow our cricket enthusiasts in office are planning for a small treat for all the employees..

The ban is for bringing down the streaker rugby style. Some clause says you cannot bodily harm opponents/players/spectators - read about it on cricinfo.

When Symonds plays for Hyderabad in the IPL,
I will be in the stands dressed as "Bajrang Bali".
