I was watching a re-run of an Aussi-Paki ODI played in 2000. What a team Pak had then - the two Ws, Shoaib with his brains intact, two all-rounders in Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood, Saqlain, Saeed Anwar, Inzy, Izaz Ahmad.

It's sad to see a proud cricket team in such pathetic condition now. Cricket needs Pakistan's brilliance but it's fading away.

Its day 3 today, so there are hardly any chances for a result in this game!

Well it doesnt seem so..Seems like a draw to me mostly .. Unless our batsmen do what they usually do (throw the match away). I somehow feel Mendis magic will not last too long.

India 74-1 at tea. Looks like a steady start to the innings.

I would say if Kumble/tail enders and VVS bats completly in the first half, then we can save the game otherwise, its written on the wall....an innings defeat staring at us.

Another typical Indian batting Scorecard. I think we should have a new poll now-> How many wickets will Murali take?

Match fix kiya tha kya? It will be an innings defeat for the Indians

My optimism was based on a belief. It seems our cricketers have some pre-planned engagements with their sponsors in Sri Lanka! They proved me wrong (yet again).

Looks like this series gonna be curtains for Dravid, Ganguly and Kumble. Maybe even Laxman.
Sachin too won't last long. If he is sensible he'll retire himself.
