* Prologue:

1st ODI v Sri Lanka at Dambulla - Aug 18, 2008
Sri Lanka won by 8 wickets (with 91 balls remaining).

2nd ODI v Sri Lanka at Dambulla - Aug 20, 2008
India won by 3 wickets (with 62 balls remaining).

* Dedication: To all those who wrote obituary of the young Indian cricket team:

Dambulla is a crazy wicket. So crazy that even the hosts, the Sri Lankans don't like to play there. On 18th morning, Dhoni saw a flat & hard wicket and had no hesitation opting to bat. By half way mark, half the side was back in pavilion.

Dhoni learnt the lesson. On 20th morning, Dhoni saw a flat & hard wicket and had no hesitation sending the Lankan to bat. By the first drinks break, half the Sri Lankan side was back in pavilion.

* Epilogue:

There is more than just batmen to the game of cricket.

India Meet SL again for a cracker of a match . As usual media is supporting SL. Just hope we thrash them today. I think Pathan should be dropped , Ojha can replace him. Rohit should gave way to Badrinath. The wicket at Premadasa is supposed to be batsmen friendly . I still cant understand these SL wickets

. Very unpredictable.

Well, India fought back hard but in the end, Sri Lanka wrested the initiative - the losing initiative I mean

Oh common Gautam , SL s batting depends only on top 3 after that its quite ordinary. & I cant stand SL winning

! India better pull it off tom itself instead of finals , since we know we have horrible Finals record.

BTW, India played their 1st ODI against SL in SL on 25 Aug 1985.

Awesome effort by Dhoni & his team!! Nothing better than beating SL @ home. John u still betting on 3-2 or 4-1 in favour of India?? One more question is will Dhoni play on Friday as he s supposed to get the Khel Ratna on the same day!
