We have a Canon AE-1, without lens cover, Flash and Case.
Is there a place I can source it?
Is there a compatible flash?

Its in good condition (minus the missing pieces) if i sold it what would i get?

Replying to this thread after 12 years, but this answer is more relevant today, after film photography is seeing a resurgence after a long time.

You can still find a vintage flash for the camera, it would cost about 1k today. The flash should be a 2 point contact one, with a manual control dial on the back probably. I have one, from starblitz.

Secondly, if you wanted, you can still sell the camera, as they are in demand now. The body will sell for about Rs. 4000-5000, the reason being many of them are out there. The lens will cost additional, and may attract a premium because canon FD mount lenses are quite popular and of high quality. For example, a 50mm 1.4 could sell for Rs. 6000(which is quite good for a manual lens).
