The leads played in Unforgiven - I have more attack to it (the highest point in that song).
The Unforgiven - II ones are just too laid back.

The black album anyday for me and hence Unforgiven 1.
2 tries to catch up but nowhere in the league of 1.

May be Unforgiven 1 since i have played it a 1000 times and Unforgiven 2 only 999 times . UF2 has an extra amount of feel to it compared to UF1 i think.

Unforgiven 1 for me too. After that, 3.

Death Magnetic is good. Not as great as some previous albums, but decent nevertheless. Better than St. Anger!

I know many Metallica purists here will feel like beheading me, but my favourite albums of all time are S&M and Garage Inc.

I somehow dont like the thrash metal sound of the old albums. Even from Ride the Lightning, my fav track is ''Call of Ktulu''.

How many of you have heard the track 'Ecstasy of Gold' from an album called 'We all love Ennio Morricone'? Metallica was one of the bands in that album. This track is basically an extended version of the 'Ecstasy of Gold' from S&M. I absolutely love this track.

Boy, you have heard nothing till you have heard Ennio himself.

Just the three soundtracks of the famous spaghetti trilogy, the Italian westerns with Clint Eastwood

For a few dollars more
Fistful of Dollars
The good, the bad and the ugly

And you will know the genius of Morricone. I am pretty sure you have heard the theme song of the good, the bad..
No matter who plays it again, nobody will touch the original.

Unforgiven1 anyday. It has clear vocals, guitar and everything. Next comes Unforgiven2 Did not like Unforgiven 3 a lot :( Death Magnetic is not all that good compared to their older albums. Suicide & Redemption is good though. The other instrumental 'The Call of Ktulu' is amazing!! My fav as of now.

Nothing Beats the "Black" Album with of course Unforgiven 1 being my favorite too. "Nothing Else Matters" too is a song which is a masterpiece to me though it does not fit into the true Metallica Genre, but it showed the maturity this band had and ofcourse initially true metal fans did not like it and could not associate with Metallica but boy o boy Black rules.
