In my view there is Standard chartered Titanium card which gives upto 200 cashback on fuel a month but it has a high annual fee and spend requirement to get fee waiver. Before this i used HDFC bharat cashback which i got free but it limits fuel cashback to 150 a month at 5% as well like standard chartered titanium( when i got the card it used to be 250). Other cards are usually for one company only of fuel bunk like IOCL/BP/HP etc.

Re: The Credit Card Thread

SCB SVT card will not give any cash back or fuel surcharge waiver, if the amount is 2000/-and above

To get cashback and fuel surcharge waiver, total value of transaction including surcharge should be less than 2000/- I had faced this.

If one fills for 2000, final bill will be 2000+ surcharge. As per SCB this is more than 2000/ upper limit for transaction. Hence surcharge revarsal, no cash back

FYI, I just checked transactions for my last fill of Rs.2000:

14/01/2020 72SGST @ 09.00%
INR 1.14 CR
14/01/2020 71CGST @ 09.00%
INR 1.14 CR
13/01/2020 XXX
INR 2,023.60 DR
13/01/2020 D2Surcharge Reversal 1%
INR 20.03 CR
Total credits do add up to the surcharge.

While very few cards are marketed as lifetime free, almost all cards offers LTF option. It depends on the relationship with the provider.

Depends on your relationship with the bank. I got SC SVT card for lifetime free because I currently qualify for premium account.

Re: The Credit Card Thread

Has anyone bought the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card? I haven't used Credit Cards till date and thought that this would be a good option considering it's Lifetime free. Any advice is appreciated?

I have it and it's a very good option considering the cashback / reward point benefits it offers on Amazon and all online purchases, plus the fact that there is no cap on cashback amount. I would strongly recommend the card.

Is cashback applicable to all online purchases or just Amazon? I thought 5% cashback was valid for Amazon purchases.

I have even though I have a regular LTF ICICI bank card.

The cash back is there for purchases on Amazon. Apart from that it is a regular ICICI card, so you get all the benefits of discounts and cashback of the ICICI cards.

It is a good card. Go for it. I applied for it after reading good posts about it on this thread itself.

Being an existing ICICI Bank customer, after showing KYC documents for the card to the verifier who visited the residence, it was issued to me within a week of applying.

This is the post #3317 by member vvijay on page 222 of this thread in reply to member ARoy.
