I owned Regalia First and it was upgraded to Regalia in 2021. Both of them were LTF cards. Now, HDFC has stopped LTF for all new cards and upgrades.

They don't have 'Regalia' anymore and is being rebranded to 'Regalia Gold' which they have pushing me to upgrade. The catch is they want me to pay annual fees of Rs. 2,500 + taxes from second year. I find it is absolutely useless to upgrade from Regalia to Regalia Gold. I don't purchase from any of their 'Gold' partners. LTF Regalia First is better than Regalia Gold.

As to your question on Imperia, I believe they have some official limits, but they don't strictly follow that. You won't have any penalty if you don't maintain those limits. I don't think they will downgrade you unless there are some terrible issues. But, as mentioned elsewhere, I don't you have significant benefit over Preferred - which itself doesn't offer a big difference over a normal account in my opinion.

On Millenia - I would suggest you to look for options outside HDFC that have similar or better options based on your use. For example, I have Airtel Axis Bank Credit card which I find incredibly valuable (my credit card usage is very basic). Annual fees is Rs. 500. There is 25% cashback on Airtel mobile/broadband/dth recharge (capped at Rs. 250/month), 10% cashback on Utility (EB, Gas, etc capped at another Rs. 250/month) and 10% cashback on Swiggy/Zomato (capped at Rs. 500/month).

Every month I receive cashback of Rs. 300-400 on spends of ~Rs.3000. Savings of Rs. 3000 per year. No hassle with reward points as cashback is directly credited to account statement. Some of my friends view this is as insignificant savings, but I think they are very worthwhile.

There are two options with Amazon when it comes to payments: 1. Amazon pay which can be used for a wide variety of things and 2. Amazon shopping voucher for exclusive use for products sold on their site.

Gift cards can be used to load up both balances and iirc HDFC smartbuy allows you to buy upto 20k amazon pay and 25k amazon shopping vouchers in a month.

Priority pass allows one guest free of charge? Does that mean 1 infinia card + 1 PP will allow 3 persons into the lounge?

1. I load up via Amazon pay gift card which cannot be used in any offline store. 95% of my expenses are online. Never tried shopping vouchers which I think are for Amazon fresh etc. not sure though

2. I think you can use either the priority pass or infinia but not both simultaneously, never thought of trying to use both together, you can try and let us know here

Shopping vouchers can be used to purchase any product on Amazon, not just fresh. In smartbuy they have the advantage of not having to pay the almost 3% extra fees that you need to with Amazon pay gift cards, so it's a good option to have if you buy stuff directly from amazon.

I am aware of the two options. I somehow thought that Shome was using Amazon Pay vouchers for offline stores, hence my question.

Yes, infinia and PP can be used together. That is how I have been using it so far for lounge access for my kids. I was not aware that PP allows one guest lounge access complimentary.

Well as per my RM, they have some tie-ups with certain firms and for employees of those firms its LTF. Even I got Regalia Gold LTF(+1 addon) around 3 months back.

Its a good upgrade from Regalia after the devaluation. But mostly if you are into flights and hotel stays. That’s my primary usage of the card along with 12 domestic lounge access & 6 international(with PP). Addon member gets separate cards(both regalia & PP) as well.

Regalia and Regalia gold are one and the same. Regalia is discontinued and Regalia gold is not LTF. So I would consider it a downgrade in several aspects.
