There is actually no catch in this. They are offering what they promised.

They were using some polish called "Diamond Blue". I checked the sachet and the cost mentioned was 95 Rs each. He used up 2 sachets on my car.

I left the place by 12:20 and was home by 12:30. All in all, I would say it is worth much more than the 99Rs we are paying. I used to pay around 400Rs just for the wash and vaccuming.
Thanks buddy for your review.

I will take my Matiz there, But i need to know one thing, i booked it on the NET, i dont have any coupon, but an acknowledgement that i copied on to word doc. I think i need to take a print out and go.

And, "DIAMOND BLUE" is a horrible polish, but you cant get anything more than this for Rs.99/-

By the way, for people who want to make an appointment, you can book it online without having to call the carnation guys.

I filled up the form on the site and got a call within 5 min confirming my appointment.

How much they are charging for painting? Our Figo awaits serious painting for both front fenders and doors. Ford quoted a bomb for painting as if they are painting a spaceship

Cheers!

re: Carwash & Waxing for Rs.99 at Carnation

This snapdeal stuff is pretty addictive. Since morning blew up close to a grand for :

1. Rs.99 X 2 car wax and polish

2. Rs.129 X 3 food vouchers at Shangai Chef in Madhapur, Hyderabad

3. Rs.99 X 2 car washes at Carnation for my Cruze and i10 Kappa

4. Rs.99 X 2 for 30 days at Fitness Club to use their gym facilities ( to be paid directly to merchant)----Offer for #1 Point

I think i should delete this website from my favorites before I go bankrupt

My case might be entirely different, but i had a few scratches and dents ( upto 50-60 cms in length around 4-5 in number ) on the back door of my Punto and also a little dent on the rear quarter panel. I took it to KHT Motors and they quoted 5000/- for the job. Carnation quoted 4500/- for the same thing and I was impressed with their paint shop facilities, so i gave the car to them. In the end, they charged me 3600/- for the job and they did a great job.

Pandey Ji, when do you intend to use the Car wash and wax coupon? Carnation has 4 outlets in hyderabad, which one would you be booking into?I was thinking of going to Sanathnagar outlet, would be a little closer from my office at Panjagutta.
If you are booking this weekend, would you let me know?

re: Carwash & Waxing for Rs.99 at Carnation

Today I went to Carnation BG road outlet at 10-30 am. It took me 30 min to find this place. When I reached there even though I had an appointment the service advisor gave me an estimate of 3 hours to do a 25 point check and a wash and wax. Then I asked him not to carry out the 25 point check but give me a good wash and wax. Then he said it can only be done in 2 hrs and not before that as he has a long list of cars to be done. When I saw their infrastructure I was. There was only 1 pressurised car washing point with 20 -25 bays for repairs/servicing. This I call it a total mess up in the design of the workshop. Washing station has become a bottleneck.

washing my car which usually takes 15 min took a full 3 hours. At 1-30 my car came to one of the bays for vacumming and what they call polishing. It took more than an hour for the same to be completed. The job done was below average and I felt that I wasted my sunday afternoon in the workshop looking at how inefficient a Auto workshop can be.

I presume Jagadish K is reading this. I am sure with his experience he could have at least standardised the design/layout of the workshop. At the end they appologied not having the gold booklet with them and said they would courier the same ASAP. I do not plan to go to them anyways in the future.
